London based brand Rein held its third collection presentation in Soho on the first day of London Fashion Week.
Rein's design might not be your everyday go-to staple (but it could be too). The young designers Rebecca and Gemma are all for innovation, one of a kind statement pieces. The new season presentation had the models wearing AW16 pieces while walking around taking pictures of each other. The interactive nature of the setup also allowed guests to walk among the models, get close-up looks at all the fantastic detailings of the garments, and take selfies with one another as well.
How lovely are this tailored blazer & shorts coords?
And one of the favourite things I personally like with Rein is how daring, innovative and unique, but also extremely flexible and wearable their pieces are. I wore a AW15 coat from the brand to the presentation, which in their look book, was styled to look really avant garde, but not daily-wearing-friendly at all. While you can easily stay edgy and cool in that piece, it was surprisingly versatile when I tried to style it for daily wearing too. I paired it on the day with just a turtleneck jumper and a pair of white cullotes, adding a lot of colours(like I always do) in an otherwise mono & cool style.
Mega congratulations on another lovely new collection to Gemma and Rebecca.
